Digitalis: is collaboration between Freddy Griffith, Rebecca Beinart and myself. 2024
Each us has a long-standing relationship to the Island site which currently finds itself under redevelopment. Digitalis is 'the first cut' of many ideas we wish to develop`; "the Boots pharmaceutic factories that once existed on the land and connections to plant medicines, bioprospecting, pharmaceutical production and thinking with plants" Rebecca Beinart.
The research and creation of the costume and film were supported through Rebecca Beinart's DYCP grant from Arts Council England.

In honour of hawthorn 1 min 37secs (filmed 2011 - edited 2018)
75 Hawthorns had been felled to re-establish a top site allotment. Before the stumps and roots were lifted, I wanted to honour these incredible trees - trees that are often associated with the heart.
